Medical Student Rotations

The Brown Urology Program offers a variety of opportunities for US and foreign medical students to rotate on the service.
A short 25 question examination is administered at the end of the rotation. The final grade is assigned by the course director. Attending evaluations (40%), residents reviews (40%), presentation (10%) and final examination (10%) help determine the final grade.All US or foreign Medical students interested in rotating on the

Description of Rotations
Rotations are usually 4 weeks, although exceptions have been made on an individual basis. The Program is coordinated through the Alpert Medical School. The 4 week rotation involves a 3 week Adult service and a 1 week Pediatric service block. Students will be assigned or choose a topic of interest and be asked to give a “15-30 minute” grand rounds style presentation at the end of the rotation.A short 25 question examination is administered at the end of the rotation.
